This pose helps to balance the body and create energy. To get into it, begin on all fours with your arms and legs extended. Then slowly shift your weight onto your arms and slowly lift your right leg off the ground. Hold this pose for five to eight breaths, then release your right leg and return to all fours. Repeat the same with the left leg.
The parivrtta parsvakonasana is great for stimulating energy. To get into this pose, start standing in mountain pose or tandasana with your feet slightly wider than hip width apart. Take an inhalation as you reach your arm up above your head. As you exhale, bend over to your right side with your left arm extended high, following the line of your bent right knee. Hold the pose for five to eight breaths and then release.
The lion pose is an excellent pose for awakening energy and vitality. Begin on your hands and knees with your knees slightly apart. As you inhale, reach your arms up, raising your spine and look up towards the ceiling. Then open your mouth widely, stick your tongue out, and roar. After a few rounds of roaring, inhale and release your arms down coming back to the starting position.
Wild Thing Pose
This romantic-sounding pose also called Camatkarasana is a great way to invigorate and energize the body. Start off in tabletop position with your palms and knees pressed into the ground and your wrists just forward of your shoulders. As you exhale, lower your chest towards the ground and lift your seat up, while extending the right arm and sweeping it back behind your body. Hold this pose for five to eight breaths, then come back to the starting position and repeat on the other side.

This one is a combo of poses that helps get more oxygen and circulation in the body while providing good energy. Start in a comfortable standing position. Then inhale and reach your arms up over your head as you move into a gentle backbend while lifting your chest. On the exhale, fold forward to touch your toes. Repeat this flow seven to ten times.
