The parivrtta parsvakonasana is great for stimulating energy. To get into this pose, start standing in mountain pose or tandasana with your feet slightly wider than hip width apart. Take an inhalation as you reach your arm up above your head. As you exhale, bend over to your right side with your left arm extended high, following the line of your bent right knee. Hold the pose for five to eight breaths and then release.

Start off in tabletop position with your palms and knees pressed into the ground and your wrists just forward of your shoulders. As you exhale, lower your chest towards the ground and lift your seat up, while extending the right arm and sweeping it back behind your body. Hold this pose for five to eight breaths, then come back to the starting position and repeat on the other side.

This one is a combo of poses that helps get more oxygen and circulation in the body while providing good energy. Start in a comfortable standing position. Then inhale and reach your arms up over your head as you move into a gentle backbend while lifting your chest. On the exhale, fold forward to touch your toes. Repeat this flow seven to ten times.
