Yoga Poses For Leg Pain

If you’re like me, then your back pain can flare up at the worst times! While I usually start taking painkillers, I recently discovered this simple yoga pose that can help with back pain. All you need is a wall, and you can easily relieve pain with this pose.

Legs-Up-Wall Pose

Legs-Up-Wall Pose

To perform this pose, sit sideways with your buttocks against a wall. Roll your shoulders back and turn your upper body slightly to the right. Then, lie down on your back with your legs extended up the wall. Once your legs are in place, lift your hips off the floor and slide up the wall until your back and head rest on the floor. You can use your hands to press against the wall to help you maintain the initial position.

The legs-up-the-wall pose is very straightforward but highly effective in relieving back pain. It’s great for tired and achy muscles, as well as for improving circulation to the lower back. I like using this pose for relaxation, as it can help with tension, stress, and fatigue.

If you’re feeling a bit of back pain, try out the legs-up-the-wall pose and reap the benefits of yoga. I guarantee you won’t regret it!
