Squats are one of the most efficient exercises to tone your lower body. There are various squat opportunities, including bodyweight, weight lifting and assisted ones. To do a basic bodyweight squat, begin with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms straight out in front of you. Slowly bend your knees and keep your chest upright, lowering your body until your thighs are parallel with the floor. Pause for a moment before pushing the floor with your feet to stand back up.

2. Push ups

Push ups are another great exercise to tone your entire body. Start with your hands and feet on the floor, forming a plank position. Keeping your back straight, lower your body down by bending your elbows, stopping when your chest is about an inch from the floor. Pause for a moment before pushing against the floor with your hands to push back up to the start position.
