Tree pose, or vrksasana, is designed to improve your overall balance and posture. Start by standing on your left foot, making sure your foot is firmly planted on the ground. Bend your right knee and place the sole of your right foot against your left knee. Then raise both arms overhead, pointing your fingertips to the ceiling. Be sure to keep your back straight and your gaze fixed on a point for up to a minute. Working on tree pose can help improve your nerve function and sharpen your focus.

Eagle Pose

Eagle pose, or ekapada, can help improve your balance, coordination, and even your digestion. Start by standing on one foot, then cross the other foot over the top, wrapping the foot around your other leg as far as possible. Then, cross your arms in front of your body, with the right arm on top of the left, while bending your elbows and crossing your forearms so the palms of your hands touch. Hold this pose for up to a minute, focusing on breathing deeply and evenly. This pose can help improve your mental clarity and even relieve stress.
