On your inhale, press your palms into the ground and lift your chest and chin into the air. Squeeze your shoulder blades back and down, and look up towards the sky. Stay here for a few breaths and then release.

To get into this pose, start in a high lunge with your right foot forward and your left leg extended behind you with the knee pressed into the ground. Lift your arms above your head and press your palms into one another. Squeeze your shoulder blades back and down, draw your belly button up, and stay here for a few breaths.

Pose 5: Half Moon Pose

The Half Moon Pose is a great way to work your balance and focus. To get into this pose, start in Warrior I and then lift your left leg up off the ground, hinging from the hip. Extend your arms up and then down, keeping your core engaged. Reach for your back foot to create more stability. Stay here for a few breaths and then come back into Warrior I.
