Bend your right knee until your thigh is parallel with the floor. Open the entire left side of your body towards the left and raise your arms up to form a T shape with your body. Keep your hips square and gaze forward. Hold for five breaths before switching sides.
The child’s pose is a great way to relax the body after a strenuous practice. Begin by kneeling on the ground with your hips on your heels. Reach your arms forward and lay your torso down in between your thighs. Let your forehead rest on the floor and close your eyes. Take five breaths in this pose and let your body relax deeply.
